How many feathers are in a unit?
The Price shown online is for an individual feather unless stated otherwise.
The description will indicate pack size where necessary.
How long are your Feather Boas?
All of our boas measure approximately 1.8m in length unless stated otherwise.
We do not sell shorter lengths except occasionally in special offers.
We can sew boas together to create longer lengths in mulitiples of 1.8m if required, please enquire prior to ordering.
You can cut the boas if you require shorter lengths for your project and they will retain their shape.
We would not accept any boas for return if they have been cut.
What is the meaning of Ply?
The Ply refers to the thickness.
In a 2 ply fringe or boa there will be 2 layers of feathers whereas a 5 ply fringe or boa will have 5 layers of feathers and so will be thicker.
Will my fringe be sent in a continuous length?
If you order more than 1m of fringe, it will be sent in one continuous length.
For larger orders, lengths of fringe may be sent in multiples of 10 or 15m depending on quantity ordered.
What is the difference between Deluxe and Essential Products?
Our Deluxe Fashion and Dancewear range uses Ostrich material with a depth of 12-15cm for a beautifully full and luxurious appearance.
Our Essentials range for Fashion and Dancewear use a shorter Ostrich strand with a depth of approximately 10cm, it still has a lovely fluffy appearance and can provide a cost effective alternative for projects on a tighter budget.
What is the difference between Fashion and Dancewear Feather products?
The feathers and feather products in the two ranges are exactly the same, the difference is the colour range.
Our Dancewear colour range is dyed to match popular lycra colours and these colours are often more vibrant.
Our Fashion colour range is dyed to a range of popular fashion colours.
There is crossover between the two colour ranges with some of the colours eg. Black, White and Ivory being the same in both ranges.
If you can't see the colour you require please do enquire as we often have other colours available and can dye to match if required.
We dye all of our feathers on site in the UK so have a quick turnaround and high quality production.
Where do you source your feathers from?
All of our feathers and feather products are from farmed poultry or common game birds, we do not take any feathers from rare, endangered or wild birds.
The farmed Poultry and Game feathers that we use would ordinarily be treated as a waste product and therefore discarded without use. We endeavour to use these ‘waste’ products and create something really special with them.
Shipping
Will my order be delivered next day?
We have all of our products in stock. Where possible we will aim to ship orders on the same day. This will be dependant on time of placing order, stock availability and size of order.
If you have a deadline please let us know when ordering and will aim to meet this wherever possible.
We dye and manufacture all of our Feathers and Feather products on site in the UK so have a quick turnaround time.
If you choose express delivery this will be shipped using your chosen method for next day delivery, we will send tracking details when shipped.
Do you deliver outside of the UK?
We offer a range of shipping options for delivery to the EU and the rest of the world. Shipping options will be shown accordingly at checkout.
We will provide tracking details for all overseas shipments.
Returns
How do I return an item?
Goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund (excluding carriage (£7.20 for free standard UK delivery or as paid on order).
Please contact us before returning items as unauthorised returns are not permitted.
Items that have been damaged through negligence or use are excluded from this policy.

Can I exchange an item?
We don't offer exchanges, please see returns policy for refunds and place a new order if required.
